imac i5 2011 unable to boot

Hi,

The current 1tb hdd with Yosemite was giving me hang issues. The system will freeze after 20 odd mins of usuage, i first thought it was due to overheating so i cleaned the fans. But the hang still persist, so i changed the 1tb hdd with a crucial ssd from my macbook pro. Went into system recovery and did a clean install.

Now during boot, the apple logo would load half way and freeze at the white screen. Already did a PRAM n NVRAM reset.

am at ends with this iMac....

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

Try replacing the RAM modules and resetting the SMC: Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC).

I'd suggest taking it in for service, but since you've opened the case, Apple will not provide any service.

Its ok... tonight i will try replacing the RAM. my imac is late 2009 so definitely no more warranty
