If your device is connected through home sharing, is all music and apps automatically downloaded or can you choose?

I am using my Mac and I was wondering if I can use Home Sharing to use specific apps and music rather than getting everything. This is because Our PC is absolutely loaded and I don't want it all spamming my Mac.

Good day sem0003,

Home Sharing allows users the option of automatically downloading items from other libraries that are usign Home Sharing, but it is not a requirement to do so. See this article -
