How do I rate a track in Music on iOS 8.4?

How do I rate a track in Music on iOS 8.4 without using Siri?

I have an iPad 2 and an iPod touch latest and can no longer find a means of rating a track. I just want to set the rating of the currently playing track, from 0 - 5 stars.

Answer: Tap on the area that the track name, artist, and album occupy. It's actually a toggle-able hotspot that swaps place with the ratings widget.

It used to be, prior to 8.4, there was a way to have the rating appear under the song when you had an album list of songs. In the upper left hand corner, you could press rating and star ratings would appear underneath the song that was playing, but you would still be in a "list view". In other words, you did not have to go to "now playing" to make ratings. Has Apple done away with this other way of rating songs? If so, I WANT IT BACK! 😟
