I switched out a RAM card on my 13-inch Macbook Pro, mid 2012 last night. Had 4GB, now 6GB. Everything was working fine for around 24 hours, but now my computer isn't charging. My chord/charger still seems pretty sturdy, but I'm worried it has something to do with the new RAM rather than the charger. Anyone else have problems with this?
Where did you buy the RAM? Brand? Does it show up in About this Mac > System Info?
Bought it from Crucial, and yes it is showing up in the System Info.
So, you no longer have a matching pair? That is what is usually recommended:

I'm not entirely sure that would have anything to do with your problem; however, I prefer to stick with the recommended method and have always installed a matching kit.
Try SMC and NVRAM resets:
