iOS 8.4 - Issues sending SMS txts...

what kind of issues?

I can't send SMS at all...on TMobile.

Come on Apple...WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX ALL OF YOUR NETWORKING ISSUES

C'mon Manuel... WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO EXPLAIN YOUR SITUATION?

I was not able to send or receive SMS either. I went to General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Now I can send, but I am still unable to receive SMS.

I have an iPhone 6 Plus.

IOS 8.4

T-Mobile Unlimited 4G/LTE with full signal.

iMessage works fine.

I am having the same issues.. iMessage works fine but any SMS texts are coming thru intermittently. I reset my network settings and updated the software, I'm hoping this fixes the issue.. I seem to be receiving ok, not sure how the sending is going..

Having the exact issue using T-Mobile with WiFi Calling enabled. Reset Network Settings did not fix the issue for me. Disabling WiFi Calling is the only way I'm able to send SMS messages now.

Looks like Disabling WiFi Calling, Disabling iMessaging, rebooting the phone, re-enabling iMessage, enable Text Message Forwarding (to my Mac or other devices), then Enable WiFi Calling seems to have taken care of the issue thus far! Keeping my fingers crossed.

I haven't tried sending, but receiving SMS (AT&T) texts are delayed since upgrading to IOS 8.4. I've heard from 2 other people reporting the same problem.

I was not receiving SMS from Apple for 2Step verification. I could not find my RK.

Very frustrating. iphone 5s recently updated to iOS 8.4.

After calls back and forth with cell provider and Apple support, today, Apple support suggested sending text HELP to 48369.

Afterward, I logged into ID.apple.com and Manage my account.

It verifies with sending sms to your trusted device.

That text of HELP likely did something. I got the 2Step text FINALLY after a week of failures.

IF you have this problem with iOS8.4

I turned off my iCloud keychain on my phone (I don't use it but it was enabled by iOS8.4 for some reason).

I reset my phones Location and Privacy and made sure I wasn't blocking any numbers or text.

I had Apple call me back and with their patient and awesome support, we got it working.

any urgent help please as the problem began the moment I updated my iPhone to iOS 8.4

At the moment I can't send text messages at all and have tried all of the above but no solution. So that means that messaging isnt an option until Apple decide to bring another update out to solve the problem. Thinking of changing from iphone??

That's your privilege. Of course, you could always do some troubleshooting if you wish.

Go for it. Nobody here will care. Sending SMS works fine for me and millions others so there's really nothing for Apple to fix.
