Final Cut audio In/Out

Hey folks, just started experiencing this problem today. Any reason my audio goes in and out? I have tracks in under my video and when I go to playback my edits, the audio just stops. Stopping and beginning again sometimes works but....this is ANNOYING....Thoughts?
