Apple TV will only sync subset of Photos

Hello

This issue seems to have been raised years ago, but there are no recent threads or solutions that I can find. Has anyone any advice to offer to fix these issues?

1. My Apple TV takes ages to 'load photos' and when the folder finally opens, only a subset of what exists in the Photos App folder actually appears.

2. The 'screensaver' seems to only show photos that were loaded when the Apple TV was first started, it will not update to what has been more recently 'shared' via iTunes. Surely it should update according to the shared folder.

I have the 3rd generation (and wish I never got rid of my 1st generation!)
