iphone 6 getting hot!!

I purchased iPhone 6 (serial num C7KPM08KG5MQ) from Italy last week and I'm using it in Sri Lanka.And it's getting hot all the time and battery drains so fast. Not last even a half of a day.Does the temperature difference has an impact on this?
