softwareupdated 99% CPU

Hi,

I tried installing the new iTunes this morning and my iMac has been running with the softwareupdated daemon around 100% CPU every since. Have rebooted a couple of time and removed appsore cache etc but it's still running hot. It is also sitting with around 30Gb or so in memory.

Is the update from yesterday ok ?

Same here when using Updates tab of the App Store Yosemite 10.10.3. What I did to fix the problem was that I went to Apple Support Downloads Apple - Support - Downloads and downloaded and installed the OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 Update. The App Store Updates worked as expected after that for me. I should mention that somewhere in trying to figure it out earlier, I was asked to sign in with my Apple ID to accept the updated Apple Software User agreement... which I did.
