Where are my audio books????

Are they also gone from the Music app?

With iOS 8.4 you should have an Audiobooks collection in the iBooks app if you have audiobooks on the device.

How did you update to iOS 8.4 ? If via your computer's iTunes then that will have tried to restore them back from your iTunes library ; did you do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases prior to starting the update, or have you got a copy them on your computer and/or backup of your downloads/library so that you can sync them back ?

If you don't have a copy of them anywhere, and if they are still in your country's store, then you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will grant you a redownload : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

I also lost all of my audiobooks. When I go to re-download, I can only either buy them again or cancel. Anybody find a solution to this? Thanks.

When I connected the iPhone to the computer and iTunes synced automatically, the Audio Books appeared. I had upgraded to ios 8.4 wirelessly and apparently when updating this way the audiobooks don't carry over to iBooks. But the iTunes sync procedure took care of it.

Unfortunately this didn't work for me.

Also old Music app not on phone anymore. Downloaded SpeedUp Pro per someone else's suggestion., the books still did not appear.

I'm at loss. Help!
