My incoming e-mails on my MacBook Air are duplicated (I receive two copies of each) What can I do to stop this?

Sign in to the mail account through the webmail page. Are the messages duplicated there?

Please select one of the duplicate messages. From the menu bar, select View > Messages > Full Headers. Do the duplicates have identical headers? If not, what are the differences?
