I recently bought a second hand phone, when I try to play music the sound only comes through the external speakers even when headphones are plugged in, I have tried multiple headphones, aux leads etc. the iPhone doesn't seem to recognise that headphones have been plugged in.
I have restarted the phone (holding home button/off button together), and the whole phone was reset the other day as it is only recently bought by me,
Is this fixable?!

it's a hardware issue
if it's fixable is maybe
it's the same but opposite of what people call stuck in headset mode
iPhone stuck in "headphones" mode
rather then these people whos detector is stuck on being headset activated your issue is that
the detector don't detect, the cause could likely be the same so trying the same cures would be advised
I've now tried everything, including a full reset and nothings worked.
So I think it is a hardware issue, but not really wanting to pay hundreds on sending it off, so thanks for your help but looks like there is nothing I can do!
as the posts in in links suggest there are various ways people fix it if not totally but temporary one is insetting and removing the headset x number or times others clean out the lint in that got in the port and....
