How do I see what time an email was sent to me rather than received time.
Rather than just today or yesterday.
How can I see what actual time a message was sent to me within Apple Mail in Yosemite.
Thanks.

The message only shows the time received - I want to also see the time/date sent. We have had some emails that have been delayed and I want to know that they were delayed without looking at every long header of every email.
I was hoping there was a way of customising the message viewer to show that.
Thanks Barney,
I did know that, but I was hoping to be able to see within the main message viewer instead of just yesterday or today, a time when sent. Used to be able to see that in previous versions.
I have noticed that in 'all headers' it doesn't ALWAYS show times and can be quite hard to interpret.
Oh, you just want to see the time, not the actual time it was generated. That doesn't show in the message list. You have to view the message to see the full date/time information.
I don't think there is a way to turn it on in the list.
If you look at All Headers, you can see the chain of when each server received the message.
Open the message, then View menu, Message > All headers (cmd-shift-H)
Not really. The full server chain path in the headers is the only way. The time there is in UTC with an offset (time zone).
I tried to add Received: as a custom header, but it didn't show anything.
Thanks for looking Barney.
Still looking for a solution?
