how do I get past the credit card field on IPhone?

I just updated my IPhone 6 to iOS 8.4. When it restarted, it insists on receiving my credit card information for Apple. I do not choose to provide this information, and am deeply offended that Apple is forcing this. There is no "exit" ability on the credit card data screen, or an obvious ability to bypass this screen.

How do I use the iPhone 6 with iOS 8.4 without providing Apple with credit card information?
