Q: How to retrieve iPhoto after OS X Yosemite
I have updated to OS X Yosemite. Then few weeks later want to open iPhoto to move pictures from iPhone. It says I need the new iPhoto software as old version is not compatible with OS X Yosemite. New version is not available in my country (Netherlands). So now what? Bye bye memories? And what is new program to use? And why, Apple, is this not something you think of??????
I really would like to retrieve old library and be able to use iPhoto again.

If you previously purchased iPhoto, it should be in your App Store Purchases list. If you don’t see it, it may be under Hidden Purchases. You can try downloading it from there.
If you cannot unhide purchases: Hide and unhide purchases in the Mac App Store - Apple Support
