Music playback is stopping at random on my iPhone 6 after the 8.4 update. I'm playing music stored on the phone, not in iCloud or streamed Is anyone else having this problem?

My iPod is doing the same and telling me that I can only play music when I have a wifi connection.
Are you sure you aren't listening to streaming music? If it's not stored on the iPod the. It would require a wifi connection to play.
I'm having problems with music playback as well. I use the Xbox Music app and 8.4 basically broke it. It will play one song, then after a few seconds of the next song it crashes.
I've seen that problem reported elsewhere, too.
Most definitely not. I have never used streaming at any time. I am trying to listen to tracks bought from iTunes or uploaded to iTunes from my CD's
I have also this same pb on my iphone5 after updating to 8.4. seems sync on "connect" download for playback offline doesn't work correctly and streaming is used instead of local playback. Apple support just suggested me to reinstall 8.4 : not really a good help :-(
actually the new music appli is still under debug. playing offline is one of the bugs listed and known by developpers now. I'm afraid waiting is the only solution. I hope Ios9 in september will solve this. Just need to wait yet, or not to update to 8.4 for those who have not done it yet. :-(
Mine is working better now although it does occasionally stop and I have to restart the iPod. When this happens, it tells me to go to settings and change something to allow offline listening (not exact wording). I found that my purchased/uploaded from CD tracks 'downloaded for offline listening' after installation of the new 8.4 update. It happened gradually at times when I had Wifi access over a period of 24 hours. Since then I have been able to listen when offline. I have also switched the new Apple streaming option off completely on the iPod but I don't know whether it is working because I did that.
I have since avoided installing the new iTunes (12.?) update on my laptop because I read other complaints about it. If I could uninstall this 8.4, I would do so.
