iPad is disabled. How do I repair it with iTunes?

Bought iPad Air in October but has gone wrong twice. It now says it is disabled and to connect to my iTunes account. Was told that I would see reset and press it but there is no reset. My iTunes says "To allow access, please respond on your iPad" and at the same time my iPad says "iPad is disabled. Connect to iTunes". What do I do now.

Hi

Turn iPad off

Connect lead to USB on your PC

Press & hold power button on iPad don't let go

Connect lead to iPad keep power button pressed down until

Pc sees ipad wait for restore .

You may need to do this more then once .

Thank you Briansyddall. That worked but had to do it as though I didn't have an iTune account. I have most of my iPad details back except my photos. Some of the apps are back but it now has 24 apps needing updating which my iPad won't or can't update and it won't allow me to add any more apps. Have you any ideas? Almost forgot, it won't transfer any of my music from iTunes to my iPad!
