foto's to face book not working

when i upload my photo's to foto's, and try to put them on facebook i first have to turn off or restart my computer, before they are visible in the foto's list witch i can upload to facebook. before when i put hem in iphoto i could directly put them on facebook. is there a possibility to do this without turning of the computer first?
