iCloud Music library help - delete library and start over?

Sorry to post on this, as I know there are a few threads, but I just wanted to check something specific.


I don't know what happened, but basically the iCloud Music library is completely messed up, with all the wrong songs and artwork showing throughout.


Having switched off the iCloud music library, I have what looks like a correct looking version on my Mac.


How can I now make that version the version that is in the cloud? It seems any time I switch the iCloud library back on, it pushes that version to devices, when I would like the cloud version to pull the version that is currently on my Mac.


Hope that makes sense - any pointers as to how to sort this mess out much appreciated!
