Can I quit Apple music whenever I want?
I don't want to start Apple Music without knowing what I'm going to get. So if I don't like it can I just quit or do I have to keep on paying?
iOS 8.4, IPad4

Once you start the free trial you are stuck on that free trial for 3 months, but you won't have to pay anything. However, by default auto-renew will be turned on so you will have to pay for it once the free trial expires (the end of September if you join up now). It's easy to turn auto-renew off though, just follow these steps:
From within Apple Music, click on the little red head in the top left-hand corner. Then click 'View Apple ID'. From there click on 'Manage' under the subscriptions, then 'Your Membership - Apple Music Membership' and then turn off auto-renewal. You won't be charged unless you choose to manually continue your subscription after your free trial ends.
I need to cancel my subscription now. How can i do it without waiting 3 months?
After you have turned off. Auto-Renew then go into settings, music and turn off 'show apple music'
Will this way unsuscribe me or only hide the tab?
As with every subscription service from apple or other supplier, the subscription (paid or free) continues to the expiry date and you can either renew (automatically or manually) or allow it to expire ... You can however turn off the service and auto-renew and in the cases of installed apps you can uninstall the app.
You cant however delete the music app as it is part of the iOS operating system.
As the subscription service is free at the moment you cannot apply for a refund. Had you have subscribed to a paid service, perhaps accidentally, there is a process via your iTunes account to apply for a refund, but this is at the discretion of apple customer service staff.
I hope that helps you understand apple subscription services.
In your case it sounds like you need to turn off auto-renew and then turn off Apple music in your settings... if you change your mind you can switch the service back on again (within the 3 month trial period) for free. Once you free subscription offer expires you will need to pay the monthly fee applicable. Note you cannot normally opt in and out of part-way through any subscription service once they have begun and you have used the service... which Is the same for most things like Netflix, spotify etc. but there is nothing to stop you turning it off.
This is my problem: I need to change the country of my account (i changed it by a mistake updating a wrong credit card) and iTunes says me that first i need to unsuscribe Apple Music. I can't update some programs i have installed and i've lost a lot of bought apps because of this... i have no problem with the subhscription or Apple Music, but i need to update my iTunes Account and come back to my original country store... 😕
I'm sorry I don't know the answer. Hopefully someone else may be able to help, or you may have to speak with apple support to resolve the issue. Perhaps they can cancel your subscription?
But I would try turning off auto-renewal and Apple Music in settings and then try to switch your store ... It might just work!
You can also sign out from Apple Music in the app itself, by selecting the icon top left hand corner. I would try that too.
I tried all you mentioned too .
It just doesn't work.
Tried to contact apple and waiting for their reply, let see what they say.
Why not just let us change the country but do not have the apple music service ?
It is a GLOBALIZATION WORLD NOW and people are travelling.....
I would suggest you contact Apple Support. Usually they are kind enough to seek assisting you if you are clear of what you want to do (and good if you have some options suitable for your purposes in mind beforehand). Good luck!
Will the old iTunes then show up, or will I need to download the old iTunes?
*after the 3 month mandatory trial
The key step that I haven't seen posted anywhere is how to restore your music libary to pre-Apple Music status. Half my music was in the cloud, not on my Mac. And I wanted to cancel Apple Music before the end of the trial.
First step - Turn off Apple Music on all of your iOS devices. (Settings > Music > iCloud Music Library = Off)
Second step - Turn off the renewal. (Can be done on iOS or in iTunes). Open iTunes > View Account Info > Manage Subscriptions > Turn Off Renewal
Third step - Reset Music Library. Open iTunes while holding Command+Option > Reset Library
You need to contact iTunes tech support and let them know the issue. There are other threads related to this and they are able to completely cancel Apple Music and allow you to switch back to your original store.
Just note that you will no longer be eligible for a free Apple Music trial even if you had not used the full three months. If you try to sign up again in the future you will need to start out by paying the monthly fee.
