No iCloud backup when setting up a new ipad

I recently dropped my ipadmini 3 and the screen was completely shattered so I sent it in to apple for repair. I'm pretty sure they just sent me a whole new one so I had to go through the process of setting it up and I chose to restore from iCloud but the only backups that are showing up are for my iPhone 3GS and my old ipadmini 1, but there is not a backup for my ipadmini 3. I checked on my phone to see what devices were backed up in icloud and my ipadmini 3 wasn't there but I'm certain I've backed it up before but I sent it to Apple so I don't habe it now to retrieve all the data off of it. So is there any way that I can retrieve all the data that was on my ipadmini 3?
