How to remove LG device drivers (Yosemite)

I am trying to get the Android File Transfer app to work again after I upgraded to Yosemite.

AFT does not recognize the phone as attached.

The phone is attached in MTP mode and with the LGsuite app is seen as needed.

After brosing quite a few forums with people having the same problem with this phone (LG G3 and AFT on Mac OS) there's one thing I'd like to try:

Some people have stated that AFT worked anew after they have removed the LG Mac OS device drivers.

I might have installed them in the past but have no clue as to finding them now and deleting them.

Tried with AppCleaner but tey do not show up since they're not Apps maybe.

Thanks for any help.

Hi, I have solved this problem.

In the driver package you can find the Uninstall process.

Steps:

  1. Download LGMobileMacDriver_v5.2.zip for Mac
  2. Uncompress it.
  3. Disconnect all USB devices
  4. Reboot system
  5. Launch "Uninstall" from LGMobileMacDriver_v5.2 folder; the script open a terminal: type admin password.
  6. Reboot system

After this my AFT work perfectly !

Is the LG Bridge and LG USB Driver the problem and simply remove it (with AppCleaner & co) don't work.
