app store not responding

I'm having the same issues on my MacBook Pro 15" with OS X 10.10.3. Sometimes the App Store start page shows up, sometimes nothing happens at all. Would be glad if the apple support Team could help us.

Same problem... App store not working, some updates are showing but iTunes for example doest not show as a update even though running iTunes show the new version is available window.

Having the same issue with the App Store… any ideas?

Another way to by pass App store is to download the update manually here: Apple - Support - Downloads

I downloaded the 10.10.4 update that is 1.09gb not the combo (not sure how they differ at this point), but once updated the app store started to work like normal.

The delta update can only update 10.10.3 to 10.10.4. The combo update can update any version of Yosemite 10.10 to 10.10.4. Updating 10.10.3 with the combo could repair issues that the delta can't.

tthanks this worked a treat. I tried the Terminal solution but it too seemed to have problems connecting to the Apple server . Installing the combo from Apple - Support - Downloads has me back on track

install the OS X 10.10.4 1st then iTunes 12.2 update.

I just did this and it worked PERFECT!!!!!
