Can't render or export my work in FCP

I have created a new project however it has not rendered whilst I have worked on it, when I try and select render all or render selection nothing happens and the project will not export. I have tried restarting the programme and the laptop, trashing preferences, copying and pasting into another timeline but no change.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
