What do I do if I spilled water on my keyboard?

I spilled a glass of water across my keyboard. I dumped the water off and wiped it up, however my computer was giving me a message to unplug the usb as it was using too much power but there wasn't anything plugged in. I grabbed my back and and am trying to back it up right now but was wondering if there is something else I can do to make sure the computer is dry?

Put it in a container with a large qty of uncooked rice for a week. But the damage is done, you should have turned it off immediately and not turned it on again.

You'll need to take it to an Apple Store for damage diagnosis.

Liquid damage is progressive.

Backup the data as soon as possible.

You can take the computer to the Apple store and have it checked out.

Contact the home insurance company as early as possible.
