iphone 5c having issues with time and receiving texts. on my second one in a year...restore my faith in apple please

bought a 5c May 2014, had issues with the phone keeping correct time, and receiving texts. had apple replace it for a new one April 2015, and this one is doing the same thing. Of course it is now out of warranty...have had more problems with 5C than any other apple product. have all the current updates. please restore my faith in apple.
