Updated to ios 8.4 on my iPad 3 ,all the system is smooth except for apple music its choppy very slow and crashes many times even while streaming or just general browsing . tried reboot but same issues. Any1 else having similar problem??

Same issue here (slow, choppy, freez, crash). Apple Music app is practically unusable on my iPad Air, especially in landscape mode. It's a little better in portrait. It works fine on my iPhone 6 though. Tried hard reset and reset all settings to no avail.

Sam problem here. The Music app acts as if it is streaming my music over the Internet, even though the songs are in the iPad itself (which, by the way, now acts as if the songs are not there).
Same problem with my iPad mini 2.
same thing on ipad mini 2. Overall buggy, new music app especially. Also scrolling ibooks library is weirdly choppy.
Try restarting device holding power and home button until screen turns off, then turn device on again. Latest ios 8.3 was just great.
Thanks for the free three months, Apple, but my money is going to Spotify.
I agree. I have also ipad air and apple music keeps crashing, freezes as soon as u drill down to browse a specific artist page, the touch screen becomes unresponsive, it gets slow and then shuts down. 👿
