Jul 1, 2015 9:38 AM in response to mvera2by D.Cohen,Take a look at this Apple Support article:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204051
Reset your network settings.
Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings
Reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on the phone.
- Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
- Press and hold on the Home button
- Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.
Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201559
Hope this helps!

Jul 1, 2015 9:46 AM in response to mvera2by lllaass,If not successful:
- Restore from backup. See:
Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Jul 5, 2015 9:51 AM in response to lllaassby SarahBeth76,I have the same problem, and when I try to reset my iPod, it says I have to turn off "Find My iPod", however, since I cannot connect to wifi, it is impossible for me to change any of my iCloud settings... Any suggestions?

Jul 5, 2015 9:55 AM in response to SarahBeth76by lllaass,Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

For how to restore:
iTunes: Restoring iOS software
To restore from backup see:
Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
