outlook appointment year changes to 1899

Icloud is really messing up outlook 2007. I've read about all the emails that don't get sent and remain in outbox, but I found another problem. If you enter an appointment you cannot edit the entire time field (as you can if icloud is not turned on, or if you start outlook in safe mode). you can only edit the "AM" or "PM" and the actual time by clicking on them, not by clicking and dragging the cursor to highlighting the entire field.

Further, if you click to edit the time and enter a time and it's not entered in exactly the proper format, the start time and end time date changes to the year 1899 and the time reverts to "12:00 AM"!!! So if you try to enter "12:20 PM" as the time, it changes to "12:00 AM". BUT here's the catch. It only changes the time if you enter it in the wrong format. For example if you enter "1220" it changes the date back to "12:00 AM" but if you enter "12:20" it accepts it and does NOT change the year to 1899! If Icloud is NOT an add on then you can enter "1220AM" and it will format it properly to "12:20 AM". So, it seems one of the issues is in the data validation routine for the start time/end time fields when Icloud is an add on.

Now, having Icloud sync between your calenders is wonderful, but come on Apple, let's get it working correctly. Based on google searches, this has been an issue for quite a while. When are you guys going to fix it?

Windows 7, iCloud add on to Outlook
