Would iCloud family sharing resolve this problem?

Sorry .... Posted in iTunes earlier but it might be an iCloud issue.

I have a client who's child uses his iPhone and Macbook for gaming and downloading apps. There family has three Apple ID logins and periodically each of them has signed into the app store to download an app on the kids device.

The mother would like to separate all of the kids apps from the parents apple ID's or at least not get prompted for multiple apple ID passwords.

Is there a way to know which apps are associated to which apple ID? Would iCloud family sharing resolve this problem?

The mom (CEO) wants the kid to be able to sync to his iTunes and not be prompted for Apple ID logins and Vice versa.

To start, I made sure that the kids account was logged in on both devices (Macbook and iPhone so that going forward he would use his ID for the apps)

Please nothing about parental controls, this isnt a concern and we don't want to use it.

thanks,

Dan

Hi Dunkindan,

Family Sharing does sound like a good solution for them as they want to share purchases from three different Apple IDs.

Please seeFamily Sharing - Apple Support

All your family’s purchases, on all your family’s devices.

Once you’ve set up Family Sharing, all the eligible songs, albums, movies, TV shows, books, and apps ever purchased by family members are immediately available to everyone else in the family. And, of course, so are new purchases. The content appears automatically in the Purchased tab in iTunes, iBooks, or the App Store for each family member. Just select the family member whose collection you’d like to browse, then download and play the content you choose. Other family members can access your collection in the same way. If you want to keep some purchases private, you can choose to hide individual items.
