Recording cassette tapes to iPad
Is it possible to record cassette tape recordings direct to an iPad 2? And if so how, please?

As far as I know, no not directly. You'll need to transfer the cassette's analog audio to digital, likely via a PC's input and create MP3 files, then transfer the digital audio MP3 files into iTunes, then transfer to the iPad using iTunes. There are other ways to accomplish it, I've only listed one. Nothing very simple nor direct.
