Dropped phone in coffee briefly. Phone wont turn on. Can putting in rice help? and for how long?

Maybe. Leave it in the rice for at least 4 or 5 days. Preferably a week. At best, it's a band-aid, though. Even if it dries out enough to work, it will fail sooner rather than later. There is no way to stop the corrosion that has already started.
