Apple Music...can you stream on cellular network....

I had the same question, I want my cellular data to be used to steam music but if I turn it on then it will use my data to update apps, sync iMatch etc. Bizarre hat you can't pick and choose what cellular data can be used for

Of course you can, that's what the individual switches in Settings->Cellular are for.

In any case, Apple music will use Cellular Data if the switch is turned on. You can then individually turn off other things you don't want using cellular data.

The options I showed are not inside iTunes & App Store, but inside the Cellular/Mobile option in Settings.

In any case, you can turn on Cellular Data for iTunes and App Store, and still turn off automatic App Updates so it does not automatically update on Cellular.

The option is the on the screen shot you posted.

Thanks Phil, I do have the Music data toggle on under cellular data already and still get the first message.

You can manually update them from the App Store App, in the updates section. I find auto updating to be quite irritating personally, so I always keep it off. .
