I have a lot of documents in Pages 09 and want to know how to reinstall that version. Updated "by mistake" and then lost it.
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)
Look in App Folder for iWork '09.
If you removed that, go to to Time Machine and bring those apps back.

Also, for $24 you can buy iWork '09 via 3rd party such as Amazon
How did you originally purchase/install iWork '09?
Updating does not remove Pages '09.
It is moved to your Applications/iWork folder.
You would have had to deliberately throw it out to lose it.

The installation of Pages v5 or later will quietly move your Pages '09 application into the Applications/iWork '09 folder location. With both applications installed, a double-click will always open documents in Pages v5. If Pages '09 is not in this location, then read on.
Time Machine will only help if the original Pages '09 was purchased and downloaded from the OS X App Store prior to Fall 2013. If it was installed from the iWork '09 DVD, then the DVD must be reinstalled, and immediately followed by the Apple iWork 9.3 updater. And if it was installed from that DVD originally, and the DVD is lost, then it is available on Amazon.
