Please I need help. Every time I open a microsoft office application on my macbook pro, it doesnt just open the current file, it goes on to open all previously closed files, sometimes up to 7. This often slows down the system or it hangs until I quit and start again. Or I manage to close the unwanted files one by one if it doesnt hang.
MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
Open General preferences and be sure you check the option, "Close windows when quitting an app."
Thanks Kappy, The "Close windows when quitting an app" is already checked. The problem still persists. I only have this problem with microsoft office products (word, power point and Excel)
