MacBook: How can I adjust the keyboard light to be active only when charging?

I like to have the keyboard background light off in order to save battery. But when I'm charging the Mac I'd like to have it on. It does look pretty cool.

And I'd like the MacBook to turn in on and off automatically.

I know this is tricky, I have found no clue as to how to do this anywhere, but...

... it's a Mac right? Everything's possible with a Mac and there are very capable people in this community 🙂
