ARD disconnecting causes client to freeze?

For a few weeks now I've observed that when I disconnect from my home iMac after an ARD session from my office machine, when I return home the machine has frozen.


I couldn't work out if this was related so yesterday I disconnected it from home by sending a reboot signal to the office machine that had the ARD session open. It froze as soon as the ARD session on the remote machine closed the connection, a few seconds before the reboot.


All machines and ARD versions are, so far as I am aware up to date (1010.3 till yesterday, and ARD 3.8 380A95).


Has anyone else observed this and know anything about fixing it, preventing it etc?
