I suspect that this is a function of the upgrade from iPhoto to Photos in Yosemite, but just in case it is me, I thought I would ask...
My AppleTV no longer shows the photos stored on my iMac (I'm not talking about iCloud photos)
Is it me, or something I have done? Or is it just a result of the new software?

Ah !!
I had done, years ago, when I first set everything up for iPhoto... Of course I would have to set fresh permissions for a new application. Don't know why that never occurred to me.
Sorry for wasting your time, I feel such an idiot.

I have the same problem. However, the homesharing option in the file menu of iTunes only shows three (3) photos... How do I get iTunes to find all my photos?
