restoring but it keeps switching on pls can someone help

i have changed my password of my iphone 5s to sometging super secure with letters and numbers and overnight i cant remember wich was uppercased and now my phone disabled and i have followed the steps to restoring and updating the firmware but now while i am currently doing it my phone keeps switching on and showing the iphone disabled connect to itunes even though i am currently connected and downloading the update .will this affect it because itunes detected the pgibe in recovery mode before the update began.pls pretty pls cherry on top help
