Hello AMOliver,

I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with your iMac. I also apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature or scope of the issues you are describing. If you are having display or graphics issues on your iMac, you may find the information and troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article helpful:

Apple computers: Troubleshooting issues with video on internal or external displays - Apple Support

Sincerely,

- Brenden

This has nothing to do with the video issue but you have 3 issues to take care of:

1 - [loaded] com.macpaw.CleanMyMac3.Agent.plist [Click for support]. Uninstall it according to the developer's instructions. Also read this article:

2 - Uninstall the Symantec antivirus software. It's a total waste of space on your hard drive and $$$. It does more harm to the performance of the system and apps than any possible good. Also uninstall according to the developers instructions.

3 - lastly, also remove the Seagate software. It's not needed for your Mac to be able to use the Seagate external HD. It can also affect system performance.
