iTunes 12.2 requires Windows 7 or later; Vista is not supported.

Although Microsoft no longer sells Windows 7 to consumers, there are plenty of resellers still offering it via Amazon, etc. You could always wait until July 29 and upgrade to Windows 10 for free, assuming your computer is able to do so.
