Iphone 6+ dead / won't turn on after upgrading to 8.4 (July 2015) - SOLVED!

Hi guys, my new iphone 6+ died on me last night hrs after upgrading to 8.4 (it worked fine for a few hrs after the upgrade), the newly releases upgrade (july 2015). it had 99% battery and it simply went off completely dead, gone. I tried key combinations etc, nothing worked. If this happens to you, connect it to your mac or pc using the usb cable, and keep pushing the home button until it you see the apple logo come up. voila problem solved for me, it will be worth trying if your new iphone dies on you too.
