Can't delete recording in Keynote '09

MacPro, OS 10.7.5, Keynote '09.

There is a short previously recorded iTunes recording that lingers after I erase/deleted all audio files from my complete slide show. The program thinks there is nothing there and greys out the command ' clear recording.' I have deleted all visible audio files in both the Documents panel and the Inspector panel. 4 seconds still play at the beginning of the slide show. There are no 'builds' after the opening slide. No sound files are attached to individual slides.

I need to erase everything, and rerecord the sound track.

Now what?

Thanks.

Mac Pro, iOS 7.1.2, OS 10.7.5
