ios 8.4 I can't have an ebook and audiobook open at the same time

Previous to 8.4 I'd have a ebook loaded in ibooks and an different titled audiobook in music and switch between them depending on whether I'm driving or not. With 8.4 I now have to reload the ebook or audiobook while switching between to two, taking a lot more time and making it very inconvenient.
