i am getting error 53 whilst i am trying to update and restore the software on my iphone 6 plus

there is nothing you can do,but go to the apllecare after service for help. the reason why the error code 53 is the itouch id function is cracked.do you use your fingerprint to unlock the screen ?have you found you cannt use this fuchtion? haha they will replace you a new one for free maybe.

Franklin come from China have the same issue.
