I have tried to use the Safari passwords that are provided when creating a new password. How do I access these when I need to sign in?

When creating a new password, Safari seems to provide the opportunity to create one for you. I just used one created by Safari and now that I need to sign in to fix a problem, I cannot access the Safari generated password. What am I doing wrong?

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Passwords tab.

Select the website on the left then click: Show passwords for selected websites
