Cannot boot Windows partition after Yosemite update (Windows partition is encrypted with Bitlocker)

Hello!

I have a MBP Retina 2015 with a Mac partition and a Windows partition. Both partitions are encrypted using the tools provided by the OS (Bitlocker on Windows).

Today I updated Yosemite to the latest version and that made my Windows partition unbootable. The partition is gone in OS X, but I still see it if I boot with ALT pressed and Bitlocker still runs fine. The problem is that after entering the Bitlocker password I get an error saying Windows cannot boot (I guess because it cannot find the OS partition).

I've been reading all the other threads from people hitting a similar problem, but because I have a slightly different config than others (Windows encrypted by Bitlocker) I'm scared to ran the gpt commands and lose everything.

Could someone please guide me on what numbers to use on the commands to fix this? Thanks SO MUCH!!

1. Please use /dev/rdisk0, if possible.

2. You have a Windows RE which is GPT 5.

3. Can you post the output of

sudo dd if=/dev/rdisk0s4 count=1 2>/dev/null | hexdump -C

sudo fdisk /dev/disk0

4. The GPT manipulation may not help because it is used to synchronize GPT with MBR after a valid NTFS partition is located. Your Testdisk output just shows the WinRE.

5. Is the Testdisk output from a Quick Search or a Deeper Search?

There you go:

I can't 😟

This is what happens:

1. I turn on the computer with the ALT key pressed

2. I see both partitions and choose Windows

3. Bitlocker screen loads. I enter password

4. I get a boot error

If I choose to boot in Safe Mode, the same thing happens. And if I try to boot from a USB drive, I don't get the Repair option.

I guess the problem is that Windows is unable to find the partition with the Windows OS.

Cannot boot Windows partition after Yosemite update (Windows partition is encrypted with Bitlocker)
