Can I get my battery replaced at an Apple Store

My battery life has been relatively short on my iPhone 6. I was wondering if I could get it replaced with a brand new one if I took it to the Apple Store

They will test and diagnose the battery. If it is in need of replacement, they can replace it. However, I would guess it may not be the battery itself, but something about the phone. It could be any number of things that are causing the drainage issue. It would be necessary to troubleshoot the device to figure it out.

AFAIK, the only kind of repair done in-store is screen replacement for certain models in some of the largeish stores. As per the iFixIt guide, the battery takes more effort, time and risk compared to just the screen.

But the diagnostics are free and they'll tell you what the replacement options are, costwise. Be sure to have a very recent backup of the device before doing the deal, since your phone will not be repaired. It will be replaced with a blank as-new refurbished unit of identical characteristics. And its contents are your responsibility: wipe it clean when handing in and Restore back when you get its replacement.
