iTunes 12.2.0.145 will not quit, I must Force Quit, why?

Just downloaded iTunes 12.2.0.145, tried to quit, but it won't quit. I had to Force Quit.

Rebooted into Repair Mode and fixed Disk and the repaired Preferences.

Rebooted.

iTunes refuses to quit, unless I Force Quit.

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), iMac 14,2 / 3.5GHz Intel Quad Core

Rediscovered that iTunes would not quit without Force Quitting.

Rebooted and Reinstalled OS X 10.10.4 which included the new iTunes12.2.

Rebooted, repaired Disk and permissions, rebooted.

1. iTunes 12.2 will still not quit. Must force quit.

2. Neither my iPad Air nor my iPhone4 are recognized by iTunes 12.2 on my iMac.

3. Some of my movies and videos have been moved or disappeared.

Called Apple Support:

Problem was my iPhone4 had to be rebooted. iTunes12.2 works fine now.

Is that weird or what?????
