iMac Hard Drive Replacement

I currently have an Apple iMac Core 2 Duo 2.16 20 inch computer and I am getting an folder blinking with question mark in it. I know that that means that the computer can't find my hard drive so I am just going to get the hard drive replaced. Anyone have any recommendations for a hard drive for this older computer? I will be using it mainly for school, work, and internet streaming. Also, if I am going in and replacing the hard drive, is there anything else that needs to be replaced while I am in there? The computer is still operating on the OS X operating system. Let me know what you think. Below you will find a link to my computer's specs.

These appear to be the tech specs for your machine:

As you can see, there is no way to add 16 GB of RAM - Apple only supports a total of 3 GB (although some have tested it with 4, the Mac can only read just over 3 GB).

As for the hard drive, I'd visit OWC:

They speak Mac and their customer service is great.
